VALOTHERBIO Thematic school

The GDR Thermobio is pleased to announce the opening of registrations for the VALOTHERBIO school!

This school on the Thermochemical Valorization of Biomass and Waste: Characterization, Processes and Sectors, will take place from October 2 to 6, 2023 at the Villa Clythia in Fréjus (preferential rate before July 30).

This is the first edition, the aim of which is to train young researchers but also researchers/engineers newly involved in this theme in order to acquire and/or strengthen the skills necessary to be a wise player in this field of research. The scientific objectives of this school are to give the theoretical but also applied bases on the complete chain of valorization of the biomass and the waste of biogenic or synthetic origin, from the analysis of the availability and characteristics of resources to recovery processes for their conversion into products of interest and/or energy vectors, through the analysis of the environmental and societal impact of processes.
