Visit of Antoine Petit, Chairman and CEO of the CNRS
We had the pleasure of welcoming Antoine Petit (Chairman and CEO of the CNRS) on Friday January 6, 2023, accompanied by Christophe Coudroy (DGDR), Jean-Luc Moullet (DGDI), Alain Schuhl (DGDS), Virginie Bonnaillie-Noël (DAPP), Bruno Figadère (ADSR), Laurent Barbieri (Regional Delegate) and his deputy regional delegate Aurélie de Sousa.
Our management committee introduced them to our laboratory and then the group visited some of our facilities:
– hydrogen synthesis experiment by photocatalysis (Brochier Technologies collaboration);
– equipement from our Ircatech caracterisation plateform, such as the FLIM coupled Raman spectrometer (presentation video here: https://youtu.be/PT-36AJ0cl0) or the ETEM “Environnemental Transmission Electron Microscope” (managed by the CLYM);
– and finally our mechanical workshop and its latest acquisition, a machining center.
