Georgeta Postole Awarded ‘Confirmed Researcher’ Prize for Groundbreaking Hydrogen Work
The Energy Division of the Société Chimique de France (SCF) has awarded its “Confirmed Researcher” Prize to Georgeta Postole, Associate Professor at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and member of Ircelyon (ATARI team). This prestigious distinction recognizes her outstanding contributions to the field of biogas valorization for hydrogen production and hydrogen storage.
Since 2016, Georgeta has led the calorimetric techniques laboratory, coupled with advanced analytical tools. She oversees a CNRS training session titled « Thermal Analysis by TD, DSC, TGA and Couplings with MS and IR » twice a year, and regularly organizes an international summer school on calorimetric techniques and thermal methods in materials science.
This SCF award celebrates years of research and innovation in key areas for the energy transition. Georgeta Postole’s work opens promising avenues for hydrogen as a clean and sustainable energy source, as well as for more efficient storage solutions.
Congratulations to our laureate!
