Valorization of CO2 in methanol: which reactive species lead the dance?

Researchers from the IRCELYON laboratory have succeeded in highlighting the reaction mechanisms of the catalytic conversion of CO2 into methanol. This study, published in the journal Angewandte Chemie International Edition, opens up prospects for the development of more efficient and less expensive catalysts to valorize this greenhouse gas.
