Position available for internal mobility at CNRS: Research Engineer in Electron Microscopy
As part of the CNRS internal mobility campaign (FSEP), the IRCELYON laboratory is recruiting a Research Engineer in electron microscopy. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Ircatech characterisation platform, supporting our research activities in catalysis.
The research engineer, who is an expert in microscopy, will be responsible for a new transmission microscope to be installed in the laboratory in 2026. He or she will also carry out experiments on the laboratory’s METET microscope and take part in the methodological development of environmental mode TEM characterisations of catalysts and materials. This recruitment is part of a staff expansion in the microscopy department of IRCELYON’s IRCATECH platform. He/she will also have access to the microscopes managed by the Consortium Lyon Saint-Etienne de Microscopie (FED 4092). These microscopes are installed at the IRCELYON laboratory, at the MATEIS laboratory on the Doua campus, and at the Hubert Curien laboratory in St-Etienne.
