Ibrahim Khalil Wins the 2026 FEZA Young Researcher Award for His Work on Zeolites
The 2nd FEZA Young Researcher Award was awarded to Ibrahim Khalil for his innovative research on zeolites, during the 10th FEZA Conference in Naples, Italy. Zeolites, microporous materials with diverse applications (catalysis, gas separation, etc.), are at the heart of his work. This award recognizes outstanding contributions by early-career researchers to the science and technology of microporous and mesoporous materials, honoring the next generation of scientific leaders in this field.
Ibrahim Khalil, a researcher at Ircelyon in the CATREN team, specializes in the synthesis and modification of zeolites, as well as studying their properties in adsorption and catalysis applications. This distinction, awarded by the Federation of European Zeolite Associations (FEZA), highlights the excellence and potential impact of his work in the field.
