Outreach article on catalysis for energy

The IRCELYON laboratory is recognised as an institute of excellence in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, an essential area of expertise for the development of new energies. It is in this context that our colleagues Laurent Piccolo, Franck Morfin, Dorothée Laurenti and Mathieu Prévot (CATREN and ING teams) wrote the article Catalyse hétérogène pour les nouvelles énergies – Vers des carburants renouvelables, published by Techniques de l’Ingénieur (J1280 V1 june 2025). Faced with the challenges of the energy transition, they show how heterogeneous catalysis can provide concrete solutions for more sustainable chemistry and cleaner energy processes.
