Women in science

In the wake of the International Women’s Day on 8 March, the tenth International Day of Women and Girls in Science took place on 11 February.
On these occasions, the CNRS and its laboratories have launched a number of initiatives:
- Every year, the IRCELYON laboratory is particularly proud to welcome secondary school girls so that they can discover the world of scientific research and meet our researchers and doctoral students.
- CNRS Images puts the spotlight on women who are driving research forward at the highest level, in all scientific disciplines: https://images.cnrs.fr/actualite-scientifique/la-science-au-feminin-lhonneur
- Exhibitions to see such as La Science taille XXElles with 20 portraits illustrating the diversity of scientific careers (In Rhône-Auvergne Auvergne edition this year) in collaboration with the association Femmes&Sciences .
- Test your knowledge of women scientists and equality in research with a Women and Girls of Science 2025 Quiz organised by the Mission pour la place des femmes au CNRS : Quiz Femmes et Filles de Science 2025
