Ircelyon Day 2026
Our annual Ircelyon Day took place on June 18, 2026 at the amphitheater of the University of Lyon. An opportunity to get together outside the lab for a day, but also to discover what colleagues and students are working on and share a moment together.
The day began with a presentation by Alexander Sorokin (from the C’Durable team) titled Bio-inspired phthalocyanine catalysts: from depollution and challenging oxidations to creation of molecular complexity in organic synthesis.
Next, our second-year PhD students presented their work. Their presentations sparked great interest among the audience, followed by a dedicated exchange session.
We were honored to welcome Romain Amiot, research director at the LGL-TPE, who gave the lecture “37°2 in the morning during the Cretaceous: Climate and Dinosaur Reproduction.”
To conclude this wonderful day, the management team awarded two prizes to the best presentations. Congratulations to Anissa Yacin Ali (from the ING team) for “Tailored porous organic polymer photocatalysts” and Laurentiu Gabriel Movila (from the CARE team) for “Bubble mediated emissions are not just emissions: DMS oxidation”.
Thank you to all the speakers and everyone for a wonderful summer ahead!
