Jean-Marc Millet in the spotlight
A special issue of Applied Catalysis A is dedicated to our colleague Jean-Marc Millet
Jean-Marc joined the Institute in 1987 and has devoted over 35 years to the field of materials science and catalysis. He has developed expertise in the synthesis of new oxidation catalysts for industrial processes. At the same time, he has acquired know-how in the characterisation of these catalysts using in-situ or operando physical techniques (Mössbauer spectroscopy, XANES, etc.). In particular, Jean Marc Millet contributed to the first in-situ characterisation in STEM mode of an alkane oxidation catalyst corresponding to the M1(MoVTeO) phase.
In this special issue, Ioan-Cezar Marcu and Harold Kung retrace our colleague’s career, which has been rich in international collaborations and partnerships.
We wish Jean-Marc all the best for his retirement!
